Tourism management for financial access in Sub-Saharan Africa: inequality thresholds

The study provides insights into how tourism can be managed to improve financial access in sub-Saharan Africa. empirical evidence is based on the generalised method of moments. To make this assessment, inequality dynamics (i.e. Gini coefficient, Atkinson index and Palma ratio) are interacted with (tourism receipts tourists’ arrivals) establish levels that should not exceeded order for promote sampled countries. From findings, provided: (i) 0.666 5.000 ratio (ii) tourist arrivals enhance access, 0.586, 0.721 6.597 respectively, index, ratio. Policy implications discussed.
